Yeah, yeah…it’s only the beginning of February :) We still have a full 11 months of musical decadence ahead of us. If this past month is any indication of what to expect, then we’re in for a great year!

Here are the top 5 tracks rockin’ the Remiix team’s speakers that were released in January.

1. DJ Le Roi feat. Roland Clark – I Get Deep (Late Nite Tuff Guy Remix)

The hard hitting rolling bass line instantly pulls you in. The solid 4/4 groove rolls along until the I Get Deep classic vocals come in. The track chugs along and never deviates away from the solid groove.

2. Someone Else – Pillowface (David Keno Remix)

Smooth and deeeep tech house. The groove of the track is interesting…it’s as if it’s a count down timer to a cartoon bomb. tick-tock tick-tock. boom.

3. Flavio Diaz & Rino Cerrone – Extraordinary Wiring (Jake Childs Elitist Mix)

This is a bouncy tech number that will keep the dance floor swaying from left to right. I especially like the creepy British vocals randomly throughout the track.

4. Dema & Paride Saraceni – Crimson River

Hypnotic vibes on this release. The percussion kit sounds like there’s a latino shaker in the mix…but it’s just some well constructed and nicely placed sounds. Nevertheless, the track has a solid overall build and the groove is easily felt!

5. Amir – Mirabeau (Tiefschwarz Remix)

Another trippy remix put together by the Schwarz brothers. The vibe of the track feels like your dancing underwater in slow motion. So get your oxygen tank ready and dive into the Mirabeau deepend.
